Models in ω 1
نویسنده
چکیده
Preliminary Version This is an account of Keisler’s work showing that if a sentence φ of Lω1,ω that has few models in א1 each model of φ realizes only countably many types over the emptyset. The proof has two main components. One rephrases the existence of an end extension of a model A that omits a type p as a sentence (in an expanded vocabulary and logic) that is true in A. The other applies the rephrasing. We will state the rephrasing, make the applications of it, and then prove the rephrasing holds. The last of these comprises Theorem 13 (p. 55), 28 (p. 111) and 42 (p. 163) of [?]. The first is the rest of chapters 30 and 31 of that book.

Effects of Different Turbulence Models in Simulation of Unsteady Tip Leakage Flow in Axial Compressor Rotor Blades Row
Characteristics of rotor blade tip clearance flow in axial compressors can significantly affect their performance and stable operation. It may also increase blade vibrations and cause detrimental noises. Therefore, this paper is contributed to investigate tip leakage flow in a low speed isolated axial compressor rotor blades row. Simulations are carried out on near-stall condition, which is val...
متن کاملDilations, models, scattering and spectral problems of 1D discrete Hamiltonian systems
In this paper, the maximal dissipative extensions of a symmetric singular 1D discrete Hamiltonian operator with maximal deficiency indices (2,2) (in limit-circle cases at ±∞) and acting in the Hilbert space ℓ_{Ω}²(Z;C²) (Z:={0,±1,±2,...}) are considered. We consider two classes dissipative operators with separated boundary conditions both at -∞ and ∞. For each of these cases we establish a self...
متن کاملThe effect of turbulence model on predicting the development and progression of coronary artery atherosclerosis
A severe case of stenosis in coronary arteries results in turbulence in the blood flow which may lead to the formation or progression of atherosclerosis. This study investigated the turbulent blood flow in a coronary artery with rigid walls, as well as 80% single and double stenoses on blood flow. A finite element-based software package, ADINA 8.8, was employed to model the blood flow. The hemo...
متن کاملThe Quintom Models With State Equation Crossing − 1
In this paper, we study a kind of special quintom models, which are made of a quintessence field φ 1 and a phantom field φ 2 , and their potential functions have the form of V (φ 2 1 − φ 2 2). These models have simple kinetic functions, so the analysis of them is simple. These models are separated into two kind: the hessence models, which have φ 2 1 > φ 2 2 , and the hantom, which have φ 2 1 < ...

We show that the evolution of the number density of rich clusters of galaxies breaks the degeneracy between Ω (the mass density ratio of the universe) and σ 8 (the normalization of the power spectrum), σ 8 Ω 0.5 ≃ 0.5, that follows from the observed present-day abundance of rich clusters. The evolution of high-mass (Coma-like) clusters is strong in Ω = 1, low-σ 8 models (such as the standard bi...

The hopping expansion of 8-vertex models in their Grassmann representation is studied. We use the functional similarity of the Ising model in this expansion with the hopping expansion of 2-D Wilson fermions to show that the lattice fermions are equivalent to the Self-avoiding Loop Model at bending rigidity 1/ √ 2. 1. Grasssmann representation for 8-vertex models and the hopping expansion Many l...
